December 25, 2013Respiratory Care training program in Liberia, West Africa
March 15, 2014Next year will be the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) as well as the 50th anniversary of the profession. The profession started in Canada as a chapter of the AARC in Montreal, Quebec.
To celebrate this milestone, the CSRT will hold its 50th Annual Education Conference in Montreal, the city where the profession was born in Canada. The conference will be held at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel from May 22–24, 2014. A regional, national and international faculty will deliver conferences and workshops in all areas of respiratory therapy practice (critical care, anesthesia, neonatal, pediatrics, homecare, general therapeutics) in French and in English. The CSRT also serves breakfast and lunch during its conferences. There is also a social program with events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The registration fee of $395 includes all food and beverage and social events.
The CSRT extends an invitation to the international community to participate in this celebration of the respiratory therapy profession in Canada. For more information, contact the CSRT Executive Director, Christiane Menard at [email protected].
